COLUMBUS — For the first time all season, Ohio State failed to cover a point spread on Saturday; Purdue scored a touchdown in the final moments of the blowout to cover the four-score spread.

The Buckeyes are now 7-1-1 against the number on the season, and they’re heavily favored heading into another November matchup, this one coming against UCLA in the Horseshoe on Saturday night.

Yes, the undefeated and top-ranked Buckeyes are a massive 31.5-point favorite for the primetime showdown against the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night, according to the folks at the BetMGM Sportsbook. The total has been set at 48.5 points, meaning the sports book believes the Ohio State defense will dominate quarterback Nico Iamaleava and the Bruins offense.

The Buckeyes have just three games remaining against UCLA, Rutgers and Michigan to close out the regular season. Ohio State may also face No. 2 Indiana if both teams win out and make the Big Ten Championship Game on the first Saturday night of December.

UCLA is coming off a 28-21 loss at home to Nebraska in a game in which the Bruins had trouble stopping Cornhuskers backup quarterback TJ Lateef.
