Ohio State flips Rivals300 LB Braxton Rembert from Wake Forest

COLUMBUS – Ohio State has pulled another flip as National Signing Day nears.
The Buckeyes have flipped Three-star Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek linebacker Braxton Rembert from Wake Forest. Ohio State offered Rembert at the end of October, got him for an official visit for the UCLA game and now he is in the class.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Rembert made his debut in the Rivals300 on Monday. He is now the No. 166 overall prospect and No. 12 linebacker in the 2026 class, according Rivals. Rembert is a Rivals outlier as no other recruiting outlet has him rated as a four-star. He is the No. 733 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.
Rembert an Ohio State linebacker class that includes a pair of in-state standouts. Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson and four-star Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy linebacker CJ Sanna and now Rembert make up the class for linebackers coach Laurinaitis.
Ohio State wanted a third linebacker this cycle and with the emergence of Arvell Reese they wanted someone that could play multiple positions in the front seven, Braxton Rembert can play a similar role.
