COLUMBUS — Ohio State can’t get to The Game undefeated until it takes care of business on the road at Maryland.

The folks in the desert don’t believe the Buckeyes will have any issues getting to 11-0 with a win over the Terrapins. Oddsmakers have set the opening line for the mid-November clash in College Park.

Ohio State opened as a 25-point favorite on Sunday, according to Circa Sports. The total is set at 65.5.

With a win over Maryland and a Michigan win over Illinois, the rivalry game will be set as a battle of unbeaten teams. But it can’t get to that until Ohio State takes care of road business first.

  • Ohio State has never lost in seven games against Maryland
  • The Buckeyes are 5-4-1 against the spread this season but just 1-2 against the number on the road

  • The Buckeyes are 21-13-2 against the spread in Big Ten play under Ryan Day
