Four-star cornerback Blake Woodby decommits from Ohio State

COLUMBUS — Ohio State is shaping up to have one of its best recruiting classes in recent memory, but it has had a setback.
Four-star Baltimore (Md) St. Frances Academy cornerback Blake Woodby has decommitted from the Buckeyes. Woodby is the No. 65 overall prospect and the No. 7 cornerback according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He checks in as the No. 258 overall prospect and the No. 23 cornerback per On3.
Woodby committed to Ohio State on October 14 moments before the Buckeyes finished their game against Purdue in a sleepy Saturday noon game.
Ohio State currently has two cornerbacks committed to its top-ranked 2025 class. Five-star Plus+ Houston (Texas) North Shore cornerback Devin Sanchez and five-star Plus+ Birmingham (Ala) Parker cornerback Na’eem Offord.
