One important game for young Ohio State commits Tavien St. Clair, Chris Henry Jr.

COLUMBUS — Ohio State is preparing for its own season to start as it’s going through its yearly preseason training camp.
The same goes for the Buckeyes’ commits, who were already entrenched with preseason activities before their future program started.
Lettermen Row is going to look at one important game for all 20 prospects in the 2024 class and for 2025 quarterback commit Tavien St. Clair, and 2026 wide receiver commit Chris Henry Jr.
We look at the ladder in the above sentence and check out St. Clair and Henry.
Tavien St. Clair
The four-star Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback knows all eyes will be on him this fall once the Chieftains take the field.
St. Clair committed to Ohio State in June after earning his offer in late May, and ever since then he’s been fully locked in on that commitment. Last fall he led Bellefontaine to an 8-3 season with a loss to Granville in the first round of the playoffs. The first loss of the season was in Week Two against Coldwater, a non-conference game.
But the game that cost Bellefontaine a conference championship was a 28-14 loss to London in mid-October. And the 2023 edition of that game is going to be the most important one for St. Clair.

The future Ohio State signal-caller won’t have to wait nearly as long either, he plays against London on Sept. 22.
Chris Henry Jr.
It’s new everything for 2026 wide receiver commit Chris Henry Jr.
New school, new program, new responsibilities and a new target on his back. Every week there will be an opportunity for the 6-foot-4, 185-pound to showcase why he’s an Ohio State wide receiver commit already so young.
But no opportunity this fall will be bigger for him than the one on Sept. 8 against traditional Division I powerhouse St. Xavier.
Henry earned his Ohio State offer going into his freshman year of high school. He then committed at the conclusion of the Buckeyes’ SummerFest recruiting event in July.
