COLUMBUS – A win is a win, and Ohio State got a gritty one over Nebraska on Saturday.

But the Buckeyes looked far from pretty in doing so in their 26-17 victory. The defense stepped up in a big way, but the offense looked flustered and out of rhythm throughout the afternoon outside of Ohio State receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

That included the Buckeyes run game unable to see much liftoff as the Cornhuskers bottled up TreVeyon Henderson and Co. in Lincoln.

Former Ohio State star running back Keith Byars was able to take in Saturday’s action, and he joins the latest episode of the Tim May Podcast to break it down with Lettermen Row’s Tim May.

Byars, who was the Heisman Trophy runner-up after leading the nation in rushing yards and scores in 1984, dives into the Buckeyes and what they will need to do moving forward in order to get their lethal rushing attack back on track.

Byars pulls from his own playing-day experiences as a college star – when he rushed for more than 3,000 yards and netted 46 rushing touchdowns in four seasons – and his successful 12-year NFL career to analyze what the Ohio State offense will need to do against Purdue, Michigan State and Michigan to end the season.

You will not want to miss all of that and more analysis on this Ohio State team in the latest edition of the Tim May Podcast.
