COLUMBUS — Ohio State will be back on Big Noon kickoff for just the second time this season when it hits the road and takes on Illinois next week.

The TV networks have made their decisions on the Oct. 11 slate of Big Ten games, and the Buckeyes will take on the Fighting Illini at Noon on FOX as part of FOX’s Big Noon Saturday — and the Big Noon Kickoff pregame show will be in Champaign, too.

Ohio State has played just one game on FOX’s premier television slot so far this season, a 14-7 win over Texas in the season opener. Illinois, meanwhile, has played in the FOX spot at Noon once, too. The Illini just beat USC 34-32 in that spot this past weekend.

The Buckeyes (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will need to get past Minnesota this weekend before heading to Illinois for a ranked matchup. Illinois will hit the road and travel to Purdue. Assuming the Illini make it past the Boilermakers without stumbling in an upset, this should be a battle of ranked teams.
