Ohio State lands four-star EDGE, former Clemson commit Dre Quinn

COLUMBUS – Ohio State has added another top defensive lineman to its 2026 class.
The Buckeyes have landed landed Four-star Buford (Ga.) EDGE Dre Quinn. He is former Clemson commit that reopened his recruitment in September before committing to Ohio State.
Quinn is the No. 366 overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. Rivals ranks the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Quinn as the No. 41 EDGE in the class.
Ohio State now has six defensive linemen committed this cycle. The headliner is four-star Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Khary Wilder who Rivals has ranked as a five-star. Quinn is the only other EDGE in the class. Four-star Richland (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep defensive lineman Damari Simeon, four-star Bessemer City (Ala.) defensive lineman Emanuel Ruffin, three-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman Cameron Brickle and three-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville defensive lineman Jamir Perez make up the Buckeyes interior defensive line class.
Veteran defensive line coach Larry Johnson needed another EDGE in this class. Dre Quinn fills that need in a huge way.
