Ohio State lands Rivals300 offensive lineman Brody McNeel

COLUMBUS — Ohio State continues to stockpile talented 2027 offensive linemen.
Fours-tar Richmond (Va.) Godwin offensive tackle Brody McNeel has committed to the Buckeyes. McNeel chose Ohio State over offers from Penn State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and others.
Tyler Bowen has been recruiting McNeel since he was the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech. McNeel attended Buckeyes first spring practice in March then return to Columbus in June to camp with the coaching staff. Ohio State offered 6-foot-5, 265-pound prospect a few weeks after his strong camp performance.
Rivals ranks McNeel as the No. 125 overall prospect and No. 5 interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class. No other recruiting outlet has been ranked as a four-star prospect, which makes him a Rivals outlier. McNeel is the No. 346 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Brody McNeel joins an Ohio State class that already includes four-star Kellen Wymer from Liberty Center (Ohio) and three-star Mason Wilt from St. Clairsville (Ohio) along the offensive line. The Buckeyes also have five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown and four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback Brady Edmunds on the offensive side of the ball.
