Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa named Bednarik Player of the Week
COLUMBUS — Ohio State continues to rack up recognition after its blowout win last week, and the Nick Bosa hype train isn’t slowing down.
Two days after Dwayne Haskins was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, Bosa was named the Bednarik Player of the Week for his dominant performance basically in just one half of action. The All-American recorded four tackles, two sacks and also recovered two fumbles –including one in the end zone for his first career touchdown.
Bosa’s counterpart Chase Young was even impressed by his teammates performance in the win, stating that he believes he could win college football’s biggest individual award this season.
