Ohio State stays put in Week 11 AP Top 25
COLUMBUS — Ohio State stayed put at No. 3 in this week’s AP Top 25, and so did the other top-nine teams.
No. 1 Georgia remains the top first-place vote getter with 49. Next is No. 2 Michigan with nine. No. 3 Ohio State received three first-place votes, and No. 4 Florida State got two.
Ole Miss entered the top 10 after its 38-35 win over Texas A&M. No. 11 Louisville is knocking on the door of the top 10 following a 34-3 beatdown of Virginia Tech. Oregon State, like Louisville, climbed four spots and is up to No. 12 after taking down reeling Colorado, 26-19.
Both Utah and Tennessee vaulted forward five places with 50-plus-point blowout wins.
The biggest losers this week were Oklahoma, now No. 17 after falling to No. 15 Oklahoma State in the final annual matchup of the Bedlam Series; Notre Dame, now No. 22 with a 10-spot plummet and a 31-23 defeat to Clemson; and USC, which lost a shootout to Washington and now is out of the Top 25 for the first time under head coach Lincoln Riley.
Ohio State is coming off a 19-point victory over an already-bowl-eligible Rutgers squad that actually outgained the Buckeyes Saturday, 361-328.

The Scarlet Knights staked themselves to a 9-7 halftime lead, but a 93-yard pick-six caused by safety Josh Proctor and scored by cornerback Jordan Hancock turned the tide in Piscataway, New Jersey. From that point forward, Ohio State outscored Rutgers, 28-7, in large part thanks to the stardom of running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
