Ohio State women's basketball lands Florida transfer Kylee Kitts

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State women’s basketball program, head coach Kevin McGuff have landed their second Transfer Portal addition of the spring.
Florida transfer Kylee Kitts has committed to the Buckeyes over North Carolina State and other Power Four programs. Kitts visited Columbus from Monday, April 21 to Tuesday, April 22, per Lettermen Row sources.
The 6-foot-4 Kitts redshirted for the Gators this past season. She ranked 25th among recruits in the 2025 recruiting class before he reclassified to the class of 2024. Kitts, a native of Oviedo, Florida, is the younger sister of South Carolina standout Chloe Kitts.
Ohio State hopes to pair Kitts with freshman standout Elsa Lemmilä who averaged 4.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game last season. At 6-foot-4, Kitts has the size and skill to play anywhere from small forward to center for the Buckeyes but she projects best as a power forward next to Lemmilä.
