Ohio State hosted three of its in-state commitments on official visits: Three-star Lebanon (Ohio) tight end Nick Lautar, three-star Mentor (Ohio)offensive lineman Landry Brede and three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Mason Wilhelm. The Buckeyes flipped all three prospects this fall so they still had their officials available.
The Buckeyes also had several 2027 targets on campus. Five-star Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity Catholic EDGE David Jacobs was the headliner. He made his debut visit to Ohio State along with his younger brother and 2028 four-star Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity Catholic defensive lineman Dawson Jacobs.
