Photos: Confirmed visitors list for Ohio State's win over No. 1 Texas

COLUMBUS – Ohio State hosted over 100 recruits for its win over No. 1 Texas on Saturday. The Buckeyes handled business on the field and as a result, made a big impression on many of the prospect in attendance.

All of the current Ohio State commits that were expected to visit did make it to campus including five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. and four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford.

The Buckeyes also got five-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Jamier Brown back on campus with some of his 7-on-7 teammates from the 24K Organization. Five-star New Orleans (La.) Brother Martin wide receiver Easton Royal and four-star Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy wide receiver Kesean Bowman were the two of the top prospects that accompanied Brown from that group.

Ohio State was also able to get some of its top targets in the 2027 class on campus. Four-star Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School running back David Gabriel Georges, four-star Libertyville (Ill.) tight end Brock Williams and four-star Saint Joseph (Ill.) St. Joseph-Ogden offensive tackle Cameron Wagner were a few of the headlines. Additionally, five-star McKeesport (Pa.) running back and Penn State commit Kemon Spell made his debut trip to Columbus.

Four-star Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) Vero Beach quarterback Champ Monds, four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy wide receiver Eric McFarland and four-star Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) defensive lineman Jameer Whyce were among few of the highest-ranked 2028 visitors.

The only prospect that did not make from the expected visitors list was four-star Houston (Texas) The Kinkaid School running back Wayne Shanks. Four-star East St. Louis (Ill.) athlete Myson Johnson-Cook and 2028 four-star Harper Woods (Mich.) wide receiver two notable additions to the list on Saturday.
