Marvin Harrison Jr. earns weekly B1G honor

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. made program history with a three-touchdown performance against Arkansas State on Saturday.

That big game, which featured seven catches for 184 yards and three scores, earned Harrison a Big Ten weekly honor. Harrison was named the Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week in the conference, splitting the honor with Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa.

Harrison became the second Ohio State player ever to catch three touchdown passes multiple times in his career. He also hauled in three scoring grabs in the Rose Bowl win over Utah last season.

For that performance, he earned Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week. He might just be getting started, too.

Taking final look at Ohio State win over Arkansas State

Ohio State moved to 2-0 by easily beating Arkansas State inside the Horseshoe on Saturday afternoon.

With a 45-12 win over the Red Wolves, the Buckeyes showed flashes of dominance — and plenty of room for improvement on both sides of the ball.

Lettermen Row was inside the Horseshoe to break it all down Saturday, and now it’s back inside the Horseshoe to re-examine everything it learned from the game.

Spencer Holbrook and Tim May are breaking down how the Buckeyes fared with the newest Lettermen Row video: The Monday After. Every Monday following Buckeyes games, Tim and Spencer will reconvene and chat about what they saw Saturday afternoon.

Buckeyes draw primetime kickoff in B1G opener against Wisconsin

The Buckeyes will open their conference slate against Wisconsin, and now they know just when that game will take place on Sept. 24.

Three of their first four games will be in primetime. Ohio State (2-0) and Wisconsin (1-1) will face off on ABC with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff inside the Horseshoe. The networks announced the time slot for Week Four on Monday, using the 12-day window to choose when that matchup will take place.

The Buckeyes have already played a night game in the Horseshoe. They play another one this week against Toledo this week.

Ohio State beat Notre Dame under the lights in the Horseshoe to open the season on Sept. 3. After a Noon win against Arkansas State, the Buckeyes will play their next two games in the evening window. All four games in September are home games for Ohio State, as is the fifth game of the season, which will be against Rutgers.

With eight games at home this season, the Buckeyes have high expectations to achieve all three of their stated goals. That will be put to the test against Wisconsin under the lights.
