Four-star linebacker includes Buckeyes in top-six list

Ohio State will host four-star Whitewater (Fayetteville, Georgia) linebacker Raul Aguirre for an official visit this weekend. They’re in a newly-trimmed list for Aguirre ahead of the pivotal visit.

Ohio State, Miami, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas are the final six schools vying for Aguirre’s pledge. He certainly is high on the Buckeyes ahead of the crucial visit this weekend.

“This school was definitely a school my pops has always liked,” Aguirre told On3. “As I got to see it, it’s a great group of coaches and definitely a team that’s going to compete for the national championship every year. Coach Knowles is a great coach, man. I love it.”

Aguirre, the county’s No. 9 linebacker and No. 9 player from the state of Georgia, ranks as the No. 131 player in the On3 Consensus Rankings. His decision date is set, and his official visit to Ohio State next weekend looms even larger.

ICYMI: Five-star quarterback commit expected to camp at Ohio State this week

Ohio State has just one camp this week. Turns out it might be the biggest showcase yet for the Buckeyes future quarterback.

Five-star quarterback and Ohio State commit Dylan Raiola is expecting to be in Columbus to camp with the Buckeyes on Tuesday afternoon. It’ll be his first trip to visit the Buckeyes since he committed to Ryan Day’s program last month.

Raiola is certain to draw some other top prospects to the Buckeyes. He is already the No. 1 overall player in the 2024 class. Now he’s taking a trip to Columbus to camp with the Buckeyes coaching staff this week.

Former Buckeyes stars included in first-round NBA Mock Draft

As the NBA Draft approaches and intrigue increases over how the first-round picks will unfold, former Ohio State stars Malaki Branham and E.J. Liddell are staying in the first-round of latest mock drafts.

With just a few days until draft night, CBS Sports put out its latest mock draft, and both players should be happy with where they are slotted.

CBS Sports has Branham going No. 15 overall to the Charlotte Hornets, and it has Liddell being selected No. 20 overall by the San Antonio Spurs.

Both players were incredible for the Buckeyes last season, and they are making a good impression on the scouts for the next level. Expect both to be taken early on draft night.
