Fast forward 10 years later and Miller had established himself as one of the top high school football players in the state of Ohio as the starting quarterback at Ontario High School. Miller’s recruitment started to pick up during his junior season which is when the Ohio State coaching staff started to notice him.
The Buckeyes invited Miller to camp in June prior to his senior season and despite holding Power Four scholarship offers, he decided to workout for the Ohio State coaching staff. He ended up impressing Brian Hartline who asked him to return to another camp a few days later to see him workout one more time. That second camp is when he ultimately earned a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes and he committed just three days later.
“It’s a blessing,” Miller told Lettermen Row. “I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. The people, the tradition, the education, and the culture at Ohio State made this an easy pick.”
Miller will be an early enrollee and on campus in January to take part in spring practices at Ohio State.
