Signed: In-state tight end Brody Lennon earned his opportunity to be a Buckeye
The Early-Signing Period is here and Ohio State is set to once again bring in one of the country’s best recruiting classes. The latest Letter of Intent is in: Brody Lennon has signed with the Buckeyes.
COLUMBUS — Ohio State tight ends coach Keenan Bailey was not planning to take a second tight end this cycle but a prospect came to camp this summer and ultimately earned his spot in the class. Four-star TE Brody Lennonhas signed his Letter of Intent to Ohio State and is officially a Buckeye.

Who is Brody Lennon?
Brody Lennon is a four-star tight end from Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Gilmour Academy High School. He committed to the Buckeyes on June 27, 2024 over Kentucky, Penn State and Wisconsin. Lennon camped at Ohio State in June which is when he earned a scholarship offer from the Buckeye.

Brody Lennnon is a do-it-all type tight end prospect that should be able to do a variety of things for the Ohio State offense. Lennon lined up all over the field as a senior at Gilmour Academy. On offense, he played tight end, wide receiver, H-back and even running back. He also played defensive line and defensive end. Ohio State might not need to rely on Lennon next season but he has the skil-lset to become an important player for the Buckeyes.
Lennon is one of two tight end commitments for the Buckeyes this cycle. Keenan Bailey has Roberts and Lennon coming in the 2025 class.

Keenan Bailey and the Buckeyes were not planning to take a second tight end in the 2025 class heading into the summer. Brody Lennon forced their hand, however, with a strong camp performance in June.

Lennon impressed the coaching staff with his camp performance and Ryan Day ultimately offered him a scholarship later that day. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Lennon took a few more official visits after being offered by Ohio State but he knew he wanted to be a Buckeye.
“It was kind of surreal, because it’s always been my dream to play at Ohio State.” Lennon told Lettermen Row. “So when I had the opportunity and everything felt right, for me and my family, we decided that was what’s best for us as a family. I liked it the best. So we chose Ohio State.”
Lennon will enroll at Ohio State in June as his high school does now allow students to graduate early.
