What’s better than one commitment for OU softball? How about two in one day? How about two top-100 recruits for the 2027 class in the span of hours.

Yes, life is good for head coach Patty Gasso and OU. Infielder Emma Reynolds became the fourth member of the 2027 class, announcing her commitment Tuesday afternoon on social media.

“I want to thank my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for this amazing opportunity. I want to thank my family, friends, coaches, and teammates. Blessed to be a sooner!”

Reynolds is the second of the day for OU, joining No. 3-ranked overall recruit Finlee Williams, who announced just hours before Reynolds.

Reynolds is ranked No. 62 overall by Softball America and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Arizona.

Joining the Tuesday duo? No. 2-ranked Goose Hutchens and No. 11-ranked Riley Hilliard.

Softball America says about Williams…

Williams, who is part of the talented Texas Glory travel organization and the powerhouse Melissa High School softball program, also visited Texas Tech and LSU, while having strong interest from Texas and Arkansas. She is one of the most complete athletes in the class. Williams can accelerate quickly, is explosive and dynamic. She can cover acres of ground, has a strong arm, and is a massive offensive weapon at the plate. Williams can turn singles into doubles, make adjustments pitch to pitch, and drive the ball for power.

Softball America says about Hilliard…

“Hilliard is a power-hitting catcher who has proven to be able to swing a big bat in big moments. She has solid fundamentals behind the dish, can receive and block well. The La Mirada High School product will provide explosive RBI production, one of the best catchers among a very talented group in the class.”

Softball America says about Hutchens…

“Hutchens, who hails from Wagoner, Oklahoma, primarily plays catcher and third base as she has become a star for Iowa Premier 18U National-Dickel team. She is one of the flat-out purest hitters in the country. Her consistent bat to ball skills combined with power to all fields sets her apart from others. She has an incredible approach to each at bat, can make adjustments pitch to pitch, and can play multiple positions on defense. With an elite arm behind the dish, she is tough to run on with any success. Hutchens is one of the most well-rounded players in the class and has the ability to make an immediate impact in the middle of the lineup.”
