How Jaren Kanak became a real weapon in Oklahoma’s offense

Tony Crough is not surprised that Jaren Kanak leads the country in receiving yards by a tight end. Crough, who has been the head coach at Hays High School in Kansas since 2018, saw Kanak excel as an offensive player long before anyone else. So the fact that Kanak, who played linebacker for his first three years at Oklahoma, has totaled 18 receptions for 307 yards, that’s not a new revelation for Crough.
