OU SEC Network takeover day: Best of the best from 2024-25

It’s time for that one day where OU takes over the SEC Network. And this time around it’s from actual SEC competition.
All Tuesday you can relive some of the best Sooner moments from the 2024-25 season across the board.
OU Day on SEC Network
11 p.m. Monday – at Auburn (football)
The original Kip-Six. Michael Hawkins Jr. makes his first start, and Kip Lewis with one of them Sooner Magic moments in the fourth quarter.
1:30 a.m. Tuesday – vs. Texas (softball)
Always fun when the Sooners and Longhorns get together on the diamond. Texas, obviously, would get the final word in 2025, but OU did sweep UT in Norman during the season.
3:30 a.m. – at Texas (men’s basketball)
As OU was making its surge to the NCAA Tournament, it included head coach Porter Moser winning for the first time against Texas and doing it on the road.
5:30 a.m. – vs. Ole Miss (soccer)
Welcome to the SEC for OU soccer with a big win.
7:30 a.m. – at Texas (volleyball)
All wins are nice against the Horns, especially going into Austin. OU overcame a 2-1 deficit to take the final game 15-9 for the upset victory.

9:30 a.m. – vs. Michigan (men’s basketball)
Welcome to the big time, Mr. Jeremiah Fears. An outstanding second half that is capped off by a game-winning four-point play.
11:30 a.m. – vs. Arkansas (softball, SEC tournament)
OU trailed 6-1 in this one. Patty Gasso urged everybody to stay calm, and then Gabbie Garcia with the three-run walk-off in the seventh.
1:30 p.m. – vs. Kentucky (women’s basketball, SEC tournament)
The Wildcats got OU in Norman. But in the SEC tournament? It changed. This win cemented a host seed for the Sooners in the initial rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
3:30 p.m. – vs. Vanderbilt (baseball)
OU baseball had some really nice moments and this series against Vandy is definitely among the top ones.
6 p.m. – NCAA women’s gymnastics championship
National. Champions. Enough. Said.
8 p.m. – vs. Alabama (football)
How about a field storming? OU derails the Tide’s plans for a college football playoff berth with an epic 24-3 beatdown in every way possible. The first field storming in Norman in 24 years.
