OU vs. Auburn kickoff, TV information announced

OU will officially kick off against Auburn at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sept. 20, the SEC announced on Monday. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
When the Sooners and Tigers face off next week, it will likely be a top-25 matchup. Oklahoma is currently ranked 13th, while Auburn is 24th. OU faces Temple on the road this week and Auburn has South Alabama at home on Saturday.
This will be one of the marquee games of the week, as former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold makes his return to Norman after transferring out of the program in December. Arnold won the starting job at Auburn and has played well, totaling 359 passing yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
OU is coming off one of its biggest wins in recent years, beating No. 15 Michigan at home on Saturday. The Sooners are led by Washington State transfer quarterback John Mateer, who was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

But before the big game on Sept. 20, OU will look to take care of Temple this Saturday. The Owls are 2-0 and only 24.5-point underdogs. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.
âI think itâs important to just come back tomorrow and get ready to go,â Mateer said after the Michigan game. âTonight? Yeah. Enjoy it. Eat right and get some sleep to prepare. But itâs onto the next. We have a veteran time. As a young team, itâs hard to do, but weâve learned from the experience. Coach was talking about two years ago there was a big win they took too long to get over â I donât really know what heâs talking about, I wasnât here. Is it the Texas game? Thatâs what I thought it wasâŠ
âBut I mean, itâs true. I won big games last year, a couple of big games, and youâve gotta come back and get after it. How you respond to success shows who you are as a man.â
