SoonerScoop Board Chat: Przybylo edition
It was time for SoonerScoop.com’s Bob Przybylo to be in the pressure cooker. Mid-summer a perfect opportunity to check in with the weekly Board Chat.
More than 150 questions answered, ranging from Oklahoma football to basketball to softball to recruiting and a little bit of everything else. Sadly, not one tennis question.
Come along for the ride and see Przybylo’s answers for the following questions:
*Who are the next commitments for OU football on offense and defense?
*How different will OU basketball look in the third season under head coach Porter Moser?
*Is Patty Gasso and the OU softball team done looking in the transfer portal?
*What would help OU football be an 11-1 team? What could hurt the Sooners to fall to something like 8-4? And who are some breakout candidates?
*Just how good could OU’s defensive line class end up by signing day?
*Why Justin Fields is bringing the Super Bowl back to Da Bears (kidding, but let’s hope we’re speaking it into existence)

SoonerScoop Board Chat excerpts:
Who are OU breakout players to watch in football? Basketball?
“I guess I’m all aboard the Brenen Thompson train. That might be a regrettable pick later on, who knows? And I like Kobie McKinzie to fight his way and earn way more time.
“I think Kaden Cooper is a starter by conference play. And I think Los Uzan ends up being your ‘clutch moment’ dude. Transfers like Javian McCollum and Le’Tre Darthard are nice complementary pieces, but Los takes reins of the team.”
The biggest difference in covering Lon Kruger vs. Porter Moser?
“Lon was 1,000 percent more accessible. Porter is incredibly great when he’s available. But we didn’t see one minute of an in-season practice last year. That’s a rough adjustment when you’re accustomed to coming and going as you please. But when Moser holds court, love his insight.”
