We’re getting closer and closer to OU football. But, yea, we’re not there yet. Give it a few more weeks. We are now just two weeks away from SEC media days, and a lot of eyes will be on OU quarterback John Mateer.

It will be his initial chance to make an impression with some national media in Atlanta. For SoonerScoop, though? Well, our George Stoia earned that honor last week.

Stoia spent a long time with Mateer last weekend at the Manning Passing Academy event in Louisiana.
