OU fans, where were you? Where were you on that night in Knoxville when the Sooners found a way? Not just to win but to keep the college football playoff hopes alive.

There is something about OU going to Neyland Stadium. It was like that in 2015 and was again Saturday night.

Go ahead and relive it. You’ll enjoy it. Time for the SoonerScoop Sights & Sounds with video editor Eddie Radosevich.

Dark mode was activated for Tennessee, but OU was up to the task.

Head coach Brent Venables

“Belief of our football team. A team that is really determined. A team that is hard to kill, a team that really came together. Team that wasn’t bothered by the noise. A team that knows that when we put it all together, we have everything we need to win every game in the fourth quarter of our season. A team that found a way to overcome a lot of things here tonight. A win on the road in the SEC, went probably right to script. Nothing that really surprised you. I love the refusing to flinch mindset. I felt like we knocked them back for a good part of the night. From a physicality standpoint, thought that was a big part of the game. The piles consistently went in our direction. All those little piles that go forward add up to a lot.

“Just the resolve, the leadership of this team, been saying it a lot. A team that is highly invested. Talked a lot going into this game about vision, belief and action. You have to be willing to walk the walk, kick the door in kind of mindset. Going to be a big-time environment, big-time atmosphere. You’re going to have overcome that. Nobody in the stadium except the guys in the black jerseys are the one you’re competing against.”
