OK, that’s what OU fans want to see. Not sure if they were going to, but the Sooners put out the good tape over the weekend.

A complete performance for OU in a 26-7 victory at South Carolina. Now the real fun (and challenges) shall begin.

Let’s take a look back with the Sights & Sounds from SoonerScoop video editor Eddie Radosevich.

Head coach Brent Venables

“Incredibly proud of our team. The courage, toughness that they responded with coming off a tough game a week ago. Loved the line of scrimmage all day. Really thought that was a big deciding factor in the game. We had a great rhythm today. Thought we ran the ball efficiently, better against a really good, tough front that was committed to stop the run.

“Our guys – really challenged them just about the pile, moving forward in favor of the good guys, both sides. At the line of scrimmage, there were several times in the game when we could make a nice little cutup of what winning looks like, falling forward and taking the life out of your opponent one play at a time. I believe in that.

“Really happy for our fans, amazing showing for our fans. One of the most fulfilling and gratifying things for me is for people to be proud of our team. Just for a moment, have high standards at Oklahoma, justifiably so. I’m aligned with them. Today was a day they could appreciate our guys.

“Feel like this is a team that has been battle-tested this season, even going into today. I think that was a great advantage for us, our guys didn’t flinch. They believed. As the saying goes, judge a man, a unit, at times when things aren’t going well. Everybody questioned the team a week ago. Our guys had the ability, maturity to block out that noise and focus on doing the things winning requires. The energy, execution, physicality, great focus to them. Thankful to our players and just their determination today.”
