A physical, punishing, relentless, suffocating defense. That's what OU coach Brent Venables promised four years ago at his introductory press conference in Norman. On Saturday, it finally came to fruition, as the Sooners' defense dominated on the national stage. Thanks to a record-breaking 10 sacks and 14 tackles for loss, No. 11 OU beat No. 22 Auburn 24-17 in Norman behind one of the most impressive defensive performances in a long time at Oklahoma.
