Watch: Michael Fasusi has 'peace of mind' with OU commitment

A day later, but OU fans are still allowed to celebrate. Allowed to celebrate and probably are still definitely doing just that.
OU hit the offensive tackle jackpot Wednesday with Lewisville (Texas) High five-star Michael Fasusi picking the Sooners. Years in the making and all of it absolutely worth it.
And doing it on offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh’s birthday just added another layer to everything.
OU couldn’t get shutout in its pursuit of the elite of the elite. It might have taken longer than some wanted, but Fasusi is coming to OU.
Fasusi making the jump helped the Sooners soar up the rankings. OU began Wednesday at No. 15 and ended No. 11.

OU now has two of the top 10 offensive tackles in the class. Ryan Fodje didn’t feel like a huge recruiting victory when it happened. But oh, how things have changed. Fodje and Fasusi is a combination OU fans want to watch dominate for years to come.

“He didn’t know until today. Good birthday present for him.”
Fasusi on the process:
“After I went on my OVs (official visits). I went to Texas, and OU surpassed everything with its vision. It didn’t take too much to make the right decision, for sure.”
