What the numbers says about why OU has struggled on third down

It’s no secret that there is a litany of issues with the OU offense.  The quarterback’s decision-making, the lack of experience at receiver, the injured offensive line and the complete lack of a running game have given everyone cause for concern with the Oklahoma offense. In turn, that has caused the Sooners to be abysmal in several statistical categories through two games. None greater than third down efficiency.
