2027 OF Rylan Sutton commits to Ole Miss Baseball

2027 Ozark (Mo.) outfielder/first baseman Rylan Sutton announced his commitment to Ole Miss Baseball on Monday. He’s a left-handed hitter for the current junior recruiting class.
“From dreams to reality! It’s an honor to be a Rebel!,” Sutton said in his tweet.
Prep Baseball Missouri named him one of their Future Games player of the game this summer when he went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a homer and four RBI.
Perfect Game had him on the radar early, dating back to 2023. In 2024 though, they noted his “easy movements with loose hands and feel for the barrel.”
“Left-handed hitter that starts in a narrow base and an upright stance with high hands and a high back elbow,” Perfect Game wrote in 2023. “He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and does a nice job of working through his swing with his lower half. He showed good bat speed and a loose swing that allows him to whip the barrel through the zone. He has a gap-to-gap approach and does a nice job of letting the ball travel.”

Sutton’s commitment comes on the heels of another commit for the Rebels in the past week. Ole Miss Baseball landed one of the top infielders in the 2027 class when Braydin Jones, who also is a right-handed pitcher, announced his commitment to the Rebels. He’s ranked as a Top 500 prospect overall on Prep Baseball Tennessee.
That makes three commitments by our count for the Rebels in 2027 with Sutton, Jones and Quincy Pratt.
