Ole Miss football has opened fall camp in advance of the 2025-26 season.

The Rebels a year ago won 10 games for the third time in four years. They’ve won 21 games combined the last two. Betting services have Ole Miss’ over/under win total at 8.5. The Rebels open with Georgia State on August 30.

“I think it is what it is,” now-sixth-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said of the more muted national expectations compared to last season. “We had a lot of really good players that got drafted and were on that team that were really good players, so that’s understandable. I do think that, again, it speaks to the program, though. 

“If you would have lost a lot of significant players here, you’d be looking at the voting and being at the bottom of the conference versus questions like that. Well, is it different that you’re not being talked about, you know, in the Top 10 in the country? So, it’s a good place to be for Ole Miss that those questions are coming up now.”
