2025 OL Maki Stewart Recaps Oregon Visit

Another one of Oregon’s midweek visitors was 2025 offensive tackle Maki Stewart of Los Alamitos High in Long Beach (Calif.).
Stewart is currently unranked by On3, but he does hold 4 stars from Rivals.
Stewart checked in with ScoopDuck following his visit to recap the trip.
“What stood out about Oregon was coach (A’lique) Terry and players there,” he said. “It was really fun to sit in their meetings and to see how it really is to be there front and center.”

Terry, JR Moala, Oregon’s director of recruiting, and graduate assistant Rashad Wadood squired Stewart around campus.
“Moala really told us a lot about the campus and showed us around,” he said. “We watched them practice and I spent some time with coach Terry and coach Wadu.”
Even in the limited time they spent together, Stewart got a good impression of Terry.
“He was a very straight-up dude,” he said, “and I feel I can learn a lot from him.”
The practice – Oregon’s first – also opened Stewart’s eyes.
“Very high tempo and very high amounts of energy,” he said. “Very organized.”
Stewart also spent a day checking out the Ducks’ in-state rivals, Oregon State.
