5-Star Plus+ OT Immanuel Iheanacho Down to Four Schools

2026 5-Star Plus+ Baltimore (Md) Georgetown Preparatory School offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho has trimmed his list of suitors. On3’s No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 5 prospect nationally is down to Auburn, LSU, Oregon and Penn State, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
The 6-foot-6 1/2, 350-pound tackle began his official visit slate with a trip to LSU last weekend. He’s checking out Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers this weekend.
Then he’ll trip to Penn State on June 13 and Oregon on June 20. He has a commitment date set for August 5.
Prior to starting his official visits, Iheanacho told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons that Oregon was his leader.
“Oregon is the top school, but these official visits will play a big part in my final decision,” Iheanacho said. “My relationships with the coaches at Oregon is what has them on top. I like the staff a lot and we can talk about anything. My second visit there was great. I loved my first one too. My parents also love Oregon, so it helps to get their opinion. The connection with the coaching staff is really the biggest thing for me with Oregon.”

Oregon doesn’t have an offensive line commitment in the 2026 class. It’s been a bit of a puzzling cycle for the Ducks along the offensive line. 5-Star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Kodi Greene committed to Oregon last season, but flipped his pledge to Washington this spring.
Other top 2026 targets like Jackson Cantwell (Miami), Grant Wise (Clemson) and most recently Tommy Tofi (Cal) have all committed to other schools after being recruited by the Ducks.
A’lique Terry just sent offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. to the NFL as a first-round draft pick. He and the offensive line staff (the Law Firm) have also fielded an offensive line that finished as a finalist for the Joe Moore Award in each of the last two seasons.
Iheanacho is the top target left on Terry’s board in the 2026 class and the Ducks have poured a lot of time and resources into his recruitment.
