The 21st signature of Oregon’s 21 commitments in the 2026 recruiting class is in. On Thursday, Oregon officially announced that 5-star Lucas (Tex.) Panther Creek wide receiver Jalen Lott had signed with the Ducks.

His signing marks the fifth 5-star recruit to sign with Oregon this cycle, marking a new program record for Dan Lanning and the Ducks. The previous record was three, which came in a 2025 signing class that featured 5-stars Dakorien Moore, Na’eem Offord and Trey McNutt.

Lott, Rivals’ No. 2 wide receiver, has been committed to Oregon since July, but his paperwork did not come through on Wednesday and the Ducks did not announce him officially in their class.

To start the day on Thursday, the Texas wideout was one of three Oregon commits that had yet to sign. Signatures from 4-star Winter Garden (Fla.) The First Academy safety Devin Jackson and 5-star Reidsville (NC) tight end Kendre Harrison were announced at around 10 AM PT.

Lott continues Oregon’s Texas pipeline alongside 4-star Texarkana (Tex.) Texas High athlete Tradarian Ball in the 2026 class. He’s the second 5-star Texas wide receiver to sign with Oregon in as many cycles after the Ducks landed the No. 1 wide receiver last year in Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore.

With Lott officially signed, all eyes are on 5-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver and Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr., who Oregon is trending for on the Rivals recruiting prediction machine.

Rivals Eval on Lott

Via Charles Power: Oregon commit Jalen Lott (No. 16) is one of the most athletic wide receiver prospects in the 2026 cycle and is in the midst of a big senior season at Frisco (Texas) Panther Creek. The 6-foot, 170-pounder is a high volume target who is a dangerous as a deep threat and after the catch. He’s an explosive long-strider who covers ground quickly. Lott is also competitive in contested catch situations. Through 11 games this fall, he’s caught 76 passes for 1,200 yard and 19 touchdowns, while increasing his yards per catch from 13.1 as a junior to 15.8 as a senior. Lott doubles as a defensive back and has high-end upside on that side of the ball, as well. On the track, he’s a state champion in the long jump (24-3.75 feet) and a 7-0 foot high jumper.
