Availability Report: Oregon Starting Running Back Noah Whittington Among Those Questionable vs. Northwestern

The No. 4 Oregon Ducks are less than two hours from kickoff against the Northwestern Wildcats and starting running back Noah Whittington is among five questionable players for Saturday’s game, according to the latest Big Ten availability report.
Whittington has been Oregon’s lead back through two games, running for 159 yards (11.4 YPC) and two touchdowns on 14 carries. He only touched the ball four times against Oklahoma State in Week 2, but one of those carries was a 59-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
In addition to Whittington, quarterback Austin Novosad and cornerback Theran Johnson were also listed as questionable for the second straight week. Dan Lanning said Novosad could have played last week, but a lat injury had the Ducks keep him on the sideline in a precautionary move.
Redshirt freshman Luke Moga was the second quarterback we to play for the Ducks after Dante Moore in Week 2’s win. Johnson, a Northwestern transfer that joined Oregon this offseason, has yet to play a game with the Ducks in 2025.
