Lost in the shuffle of a big game is the fact this will also be Senior night for many Ducks. Emotions will be running high for many players playing their last (guaranteed) game in Autzen stadium.

For an in-state player like Bryce Boettcher it can definitely be a very emotional night. The talented two-sport star spoke about this upcoming opportunity on Tuesday with media.

Here are his top quotes with the video also included.

On USC Being Final Home Game:

“Yeah man I’m excited it’s obviously a little bittersweet but it’s a cool opportunity. Especially in this fashion. So yeah I’m excited.”

On Facing USC & UW to end the Season:

“I think it’s pretty cool obviously since we moved to the Big Ten and those are two Pac-12 schools. I think it’s a good way to finish up the regular season both really good teams and we’ve got to come ready to play but I like it.”

On Stopping USC’s Offense:

“We’ve got to knock out their run game first. I think it starts up front, obviously. And they’ve got a good quarterback and a good couple receivers, so we’ve got to knock out their pass game. But, yeah, I think it starts up front.”

On Playing Football in November:

You know, it’s what you live for, man. It starts getting cold. You know, the leaves start falling off the trees. You know, obviously big games like this, especially senior night and, you know, the magnitude of it’s, you know, what you play for.”

On Senior Night Emotions:

“Yeah, it’ll definitely be high. Got a lot of family and friends coming. So definitely take my moment to enjoy it there. But then obviously come first first snap it’s you know and kick off it’s game time.”
