ESPN College GameDay Returning to Eugene for No. 8 Oregon vs. No. 17 USC

ESPN College GameDay is returning to Eugene for next week’s matchup between the No. 8 Oregon Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) and the No. 17 USC Trojans (8-2, 6-1 Big Ten). Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 PM PT on CBS and it will be the 14th time the program has traveled to Eugene.
This will be the second time ESPN’s flagship college football show will be in Eugene this season after first appearing for Oregon vs. Indiana on October 11. This is the first time since 2007 that College GameDay has traveled to Eugene twice in the same season.
Next week’s game against the Trojans will be the third time the Ducks have been featured in the national game of the week, as College GameDay traveled to State College for Oregon’s upset of then No. 3 Penn State on September 27.
Oregon heads into its next matchup following a 42-13 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers Friday night in Eugene. USC enters the game following a 26-21 win over the No. 21 Iowa Hawkeyes Saturday in Los Angeles.

With just two games left in the regular season, the stakes are high as both Oregon and USC continue to battle for a spot in the College Football Playoff. USC and Oregon last faced off in 2023, which was also a November home game in Eugene. The Ducks defeated the Trojans who were led by Heisman Trophy quarterback Caleb Williams 36-27.
After next week’s rivalry game against the Trojans the Ducks will head north to Seattle cap off the regular season with another heated rivalry against the Washington Huskies.
Oregon is 20-14 all-time when playing in a game featured by College GameDay, including a 9-4 record at home.
