Corpatty's Week Seven College Football Calls

Miserable 4-6 week last week with some really rough beats mixed in. BYU gives up a garbage time TD with a minute to go to blow the cover. Michigan gets inside the 5 yard line at the end of the game but decides not to score and run up the score. Tough losses but that’s part of the business. Even after the poor week, we’re still a respectable 21-11 through 3 weeks.
Below are my Top 10 picks listed in order of preference.

1. Tennessee -12.5. Arkansas is a mess and I don’t think interim coach Bobby Petrino will be able to turn things around for the Razorbacks. I think Tennessee wins this one going away.

2. Washington -9.5. Excluding Oregon, B1G teams are 6-23-1 against the spread when traveling multiple time zones for a conference road game the past two seasons. I expect that trend to continue here and Washington wins this one easily.
3. Cincinnati -9.5. Cincinnati has quietly become a very efficient and explosive offense behind the stellar QB play of Brendan Sorsby. UCF is coming off back to back losses and they don’t have the offense to keep up with Cincy.
4. Maryland +6.5. The Terrapins blew their game last week in the second half against UW. Now they get a Nebraska team somehow playing their first road game of the season. I think Maryland keeps this one close and covers against Nebraska.
5. Ohio St -13.5
6. Texas A&M -6.5
7. Alabama -3.5
8. UCF @ Cincy over 52.5
9. Pitt +10.5
