Dan Lanning on Teitum Tuioti: "Teitum never gets enough credit."

On Wednesday Oregon head coach Dan Lanning met with the media for the final time this week. Up next is his home game with Wisconsin as the Ducks enter the contest as heavy favorites.
Lanning kept it short and sweet with the entire media session lasting about three minutes. Here are his top comments below and the video included if you really want to watch it all.

On 3rd/4th Down Defense:
“I think it’s one of the hardest things in football to stop people when it’s third and one, fourth and one. So, more importantly, avoid getting there, right? But it’s a challenge. And it’s something we’ll always attack and work to improve. I like fourth and ten, a lot better.”
On Dylan Williams:
“Yeah, improving, consistently improving. And he brings an energy and enthusiasm when he steps on the field. You know, he wants to do right and works really hard to do right for his team. So I think he’s going to be a really good player here.”

On Teitum Tuioti:
“Yeah, Teitum never gets enough credit, man. He’s an unbelievable player, big-time guy for us on the edge, always does his job, you know, really takes the time and effort to know he’s in the right spot on film. But he’s one of those guys that we trust when he’s out there on the field for us.”
On Dierre & Jordon Earning Trust:
“Yeah, just the execution in practice, right? When you see guys do it at a high level in practice and play, you know, with speed, do the job the right way, you know, that allows you to say, okay, I can go see this guy on the field. But for every one of our guys that touch the field, this guy shows up in practice first, and it shows up in practice for both those guys.”
