Derrick Harmon: "He cares about his players."

Oregon defensive lineman Derrick Harmon met with media Wednesday for Oregon’s final media period of the week. Harmon was asked about practices this week and of course preparing for Wisconsin.

If you haven’t watched Harmon speak yet he’s a man of few words. He’s quick and to the point with his answers.

On Lanning’s Motivation:

“He just, he’s a players coach. He cares about his players. That’s the main thing.”

On Defensive Changes:

“The coach has been on our behind in practice. Last week we emphasized batting balls. This defense all about the ball.”

On Matayo Uiagelelei:

“Great pass rusher. Probably a first round pick kind of guy. He’s an elite athlete. Funny guy. He’s a jokester.”

On Wisconsin’s running backs:

“Powerful. Good running back, we gotta stop them.”

The Wisconsin O-Line:

“I think the smallest one is 6-6. They got some dudes up there.”
