The Ducks have added to the roster with yet another transfer. And this time they are back at Nebraska with another former Tony Tuioti player.

Nebraska defensive lineman Casey Rogers has committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder had an injury-riddled 2021 season but still played in 7 games and recorded 17 tackles.

Rogers visited Oregon this weekend following a recent trip to USC.

Casey Rogers was injured during fall camp and the injury kept him out of the first five games of the season. He returned to play in the final seven games, totaling 17 tackles with 3.0 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks. Rogers made his season debut in the win over Northwestern, finishing with two tackles, including a half tackle for loss. At Minnesota, Rogers had a half tackle for loss. He made three tackles with a half tackle for loss against Purdue. Rogers totaled two tackles and another half TFL against No. 6 Ohio State, his third consecutive game with a tackle for loss. He made four solo tackles at No. 19 Wisconsin. In the finale against No. 17 Iowa, Rogers made five tackles – tying his career high – including 1.0 tackle for loss and a half sack.

Dan Lanning has been active in the transfer portal since his arrival. He now has landed verbal commitments from 9 transfers into the program.

Earlier this year Oregon also landed a verbal commitment from Nebraska defensive end Jordon Riley.
