Ducks Flip Tight End Commit Vander Ploog
Sunday led to some big news on the recruiting trail for Oregon. The Ducks were able to pick up a big commitment at a position of need. It also helps that Oregon flipped him from its biggest football rival.
Troy (Calif.) tight end Vander Ploog has flipped his commitment to Oregon. The decision was announced moments ago on social media.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder has been a big target for this Oregon staff for most of the Fall season. Ploog is the No. 219 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings and the No. 12 ranked tight end nationally.
