Oregon has yet to close on a tight end commit in the 2025 cycle. However it feels like they are close on a couple of big targets.

Drew Mehringer will get one of those top targets back on campus in April.

Goodland (Kan.) tight end Linkon Cure is set to return to Oregon on April 27. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder is the No. 2 ranked tight end nationally in the On3 Industry Rankings. Cure is the No. 35 ranked player nationally.

Oregon has come competition at the top for Cure however. Kansas State is a looking like the team to beat at the moment. He will be back at K-State on April 11. And Texas A&M has made a strong push of late for the talented four-star as well. He will visit the Aggies on March 23.

Cure has been to Eugene before however. The coaching staff and area are two things he noted keep him interested in the Ducks.

“I think absolutely everything keeps me interested in Oregon,” Cure told ScoopDuck. “I love the coaching staff and everything about the program.”

Currently Kansas State leads the On3 RPM at 97%.
