Ducks Sign Former OL Commit

Late Thursday night Oregon sent out yet another bat signal. This time Oregon has announced the signing of Bishop Gorman (Nev.) offensive lineman Alani Kalaniuvalu.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder was once committed to Oregon before flipping to BYU in early November. It’s one of the more intriguing recruitments in a while.
Kalaniuvalu is the No. 286 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 22 ranked interior offensive lineman in the country.
He is expected to take a mission out of high school. Meaning he will likely not join the Ducks for the next two seasons.

The four-star joins fellow Bishop Gorman star Douglas Utu as a part of this Oregon class. Both have sent in their paperwork signing with the Ducks.
Kalaniuvalu is offensive line commit No. 5 in the class for Oregon. The Ducks now have 21 commits in the 2025 class.
