Four-Star LB Brayden Platt Names Top Eight

Dan Lanning has definitely prioritized linebackers in this recruiting cycle. One of which is Yelm (Wash.) linebacker Brayden Platt.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder is the nation’s No. 225 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. Platt is the No. 4 ranked player from the state of Washington.
On Tuesday he dropped his top eight which included Oregon. Surprisingly it did not include Washington.
Currently Oregon leads the On3 RPM just slightly at 23%. USC is just behind the Ducks with 20% chance to land the four-star.

Platt has visited Oregon twice already and is expected on campus once again this weekend. He has also visited the Trojans at least three times.
Following some commitments this week, Oregon moved down a spot to the No. 11 ranked class nationally. The Ducks do not have a linebacker committed in the 2024 cycle. This figures to be a relatively big class for the Ducks at the linebacker spot.
On3 NIL Valuation
Platt currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
