Some good news for Oregon fans has started off the work week. Offensive line recruiting has been an intriguing group to track so far in this 2025 cycle.

But A’lique Terry has landed himself a big one to start the class.

Following an official visit this weekend, Sumner (Fla.) offensive tackle Ziyare Addison has committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder is the No. 179 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 15 offensive tackle nationally.

Oregon was able to beat out Florida, Florida State and others for the highly coveted recruit.

Ahead of his visit, our own Max Torres caught up with Addison to ask what stands out about the Ducks.

“Oregon, they’ve been recruiting me since I was a sophomore,” Addison said. “I was around 250-255ish when they offered me. They took an opportunity on me real early, earlier than everybody else. I have a great relationship with (A’lique) Terry, Coach Coby (Sayyah) and of course Coach (Dan) Lanning, those my guys up there.”

Addison is commit No. 8 for the Ducks in the 2025 class. Oregon has one of the top ten classes nationally. He is the first offensive line commit for Oregon in this cycle.
