Oregon Lands Former USC Defensive Line Commit
Dan Lanning is riding that momentum following the big win over Ohio State. The Ducks just landed their second commit in as many days Monday morning.
Late Sunday night Bingham (Utah) defensive lineman Viliami Moala decommitted from USC. He had been committed since September 10.
On Monday morning he woke up announcing his commitment to Oregon. Moala had previously visited Oregon for Saturday Night Live.
The 6-foot-2, 305-pounder is the No. 328 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings for the 2026 class. On Sunday Oregon also added defensive lineman Tomuhini Tupoi to the commit list for 2026.
Oregon already has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class for 2026. The Ducks now have 7 commits in the 2026 class. All of them except for 2 play on the line of scrimmage.
