Four-Star Quarterback Sets Commitment Date
Oregon has a quarterback committed in the 2025 class already. It was no real surprise when the Ducks landed an early pledge from Lincoln (Calif.) quarterback Akili Smith Jr back in July.
However knowing things can change with the current roster and your commits over time, Oregon has kept some level of communication with a few other 2025 quarterbacks. And one of them is set to come off the board in just over a month.
Centennial (Calif.) quarterback Husan Longstreet just announced with On3’s Hayes Fawcett he will make his college commitment on April 14. There are 8 schools he will decide from including Oregon.
The 6-foot, 185-pounder also has UCLA, Auburn, Louisville, Michigan, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Miami as his finalists. Right now the On3 RPM favors Auburn at 24% with Michigan just behind at 21% and Miami at 18%.
Longstreet is the No. 76 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 6 ranked quarterback in those same rankings.
