Four-Star RB Roderick Robinson Names Top Six
Lincoln (Calif.) running back Roderick Robinson is one of the most sought after running backs in the country. He’s worked his way from a long list of suitors down to six programs.
The 6-foot-1, 223-pounder is the No. 344 ranked player in the On3 Consensus Rankings. He’s the No. 25 ranked running back nationally.
Oregon, Arizona, Auburn, Cal, Tennessee and UCLA made the cut.
As you’ll recall, Oregon signed two former Lincoln preps in the 2022 cycle. Cornerbacks Jahlil Florence and Jalil Tucker signed with the Ducks.
Robinson has taken multiple trips to Oregon during his recruitment.
Recently, Robinson said the Ducks have a great chance in his recruitment due to those relationships with Florence and Tucker. Not to mention his relationship with running backs coach Carlos Locklyn.
“They say it’s perfect, especially coming from San Diego,” Robinson said. “A bunch of San Diego guys go up there, and they basically say it’s the same thing up north. Going there would be kind of nice. I like Coach Locklyn, the running backs coach, a lot. He’s a really good guy. A great mentor on and off the field.”
