Oregon saw plenty of movement in the transfer portal this past offseason. After adding 11 player from the transfer portal, the Ducks saw 18 total players transfer out to find a new school.

None of the players that left were starters and ScoopDuck is tracking at least 12 of Oregon’s scholarship players that made a move to another school.

QB Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele, Cal

It might be splitting hairs to consider Keawe-Sagapolutele a transfer, but he technically falls under a “true freshman transfer” designation. He only stopped for a cup of coffee in Eugene. JKS arrived as a winter enrollee and practiced with Oregon for the Rose Bowl before transferring to Cal, the school he was committed to before flipping to Oregon. He’s made an instant impact and is one of the best quarterbacks in college football right now. The lefty specialist has thrown for 1,242 yards and eight touchdowns against four interceptions en route to a 4-1 record.

DB Rodrick Pleasant, UCLA

Pleasant hit the portal after spending two years in Eugene and only carving out a small role. Juggling track is no small task and probably limited the impact he was able to make for Lanning and the Ducks. Now he’s a starter, albeit in a tumultuous situation with the Bruins, who have fired their head coach and both of their coordinators. In four games he’s played 258 snaps and recorded 12 total tackles, half a tackle for loss and one pass breakup. Pleasant has a 70.5 defensive grade, 60.9 coverage grade and 78.1 tackle grade according to Pro Football Focus.

WR Ryan Pellum, Delaware State

Pellum entered the transfer portal in January and was arrested on charges of aggravated assault. He then opted to move across the country to play for Desean Jackson. He’s appeared in every game for the Hornets and caught four passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.

DB Khmari Terrell, Texas State

Terrell has played in each of Texas State’s four games and logged 151 snaps after transferring in from Oregon. He’s recorded one interception, one pass breakup and five total tackles. Terrell has a 69.0 defensive grade and 68.5 coverage grade according to PFF.

OT JacQawn ‘Shaq’ McRoy, Arkansas

McRoy has played in three games for the Razorbacks, who are now looking for a new coach after firing Sam Pittman. He became the first Arkansas offensive lineman to rush for a touchdown when he scored against Notre Dame last weekend.

EDGE Emar’rion Winston, Baylor

Winston has been quick to carve out a significant role in Waco, playing in every game for the Bears so far. So far this season he’s recorded 10 total tackles, 2 sacks, 3 tackles for loss and 7 quarterback hurries. He’s recorded a 65.3 defensive grade and 65.4 pass rush grade on PFF.

S Tyler Turner, Baylor

Turner has played in all five games for the Bears, recording 14 total tackles and 2 pass breakups on the year. The one-time Baylor commit reunited with Matt Powledge in Waco and has a 70.8 defensive grade and 73.6 coverage grade according to PFF.

EDGE Jaxson Jones, Utah

Jones transferred to the Utes this offseason in what I thought was a nice landing spot for him. However he hasn’t seen any game action through five weeks for a Utah squad that’s off to a 4-1 start and is in the thick of the Big 12 discuission.

P Luke Dunne, Washington

Dunne is the starting punter for the Huskies after transferring to Oregon’s rival this offseason. He’s punted five times on the year and is averaging 38.6 yards per punt with one punt inside the 20-yard line and a long of 56 yards.

EDGE Jaeden Moore, Pitt

Moore was in line to carve out a larger role for Oregon in 2025 but decided to transfer to Pitt. He has not recorded a stat this season after missing time to start the season. He was seen with a boot and using a scooter last month, so it looks like he’s a bit banged up to star thte year.

DL My’Keil Gardner, Arizona State

Gardner transferred back to his home state to suit up for Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils. He was one of the transfers out that Oregon probably would’ve liked to hold on to. Unfortunately he’ll miss the entire 2025 season after tearing his achilles while working to recover from a different injury. Just a couple of really tough breaks for him.

OL George Silva

Silva was a former top junior college recruit and has not found a new home after entering the transfer portal. He was predicted to commit to Oklahoma State by Pete Nakos, but it looks like that never came to fruition.
